Not a very tough basic thing to animate, but over an hour went into it with the tweaking.

Shouldn't the tongue be bigger? It comes almost over like a reptile tongue...

Somewhere in between those - in the new version it almost looks like the smiley is licking its eyes, which is disgusting.

That's what I was afraid of when I didn't make the tongue bigger yesterday.

I'll do an iteration that keeps the width but not the length, then.

That didn't take long - and I always try to minimize file size, so there's that.



I could also try a version where the tongue extends down a pixel over the lip line if anyone really wants; the size of the second version tongue with less nose-licking action...

Hey Geo - you were around 'poly forever, so maybe you'll enjoy this.  Aeson has taken over ownership, y'know, and Ming's back in charge of the staff now.  Today, I had an inspiration, and offered Aeson the attached, with the suggestion of "Who's the B*stard NOW?" for hovertext.  [snickers]
