In the US? Some say it's illegal at your place but I don't know if it's a rumour or not. Here it's actually plain sailing from Warsaw to Birmingham, UK, as long as you stick to the right autobahn, don't mind sleeping in the bushes and keep an eye out on those pesky French traffic cops. :) Really dodgy routes to the East are still ahead of me. Anyway, I'm leaving on Friday and probably won't do my turn, so see you soon! :)

Sorry about delay – I’ve got really busy time at the moment and Arma is on holiday anyway, so there is no pressure... Have a nice trip! :)

Yes the US-Im not sure if its actually illegal or not since i havnt done it, from what ive heard its more of a case if a police officer decides to do something to harass you or not. I see people doing it all the time and not get arrested however (i live adjacent to a highway) The older ones in my family who have hitchhiked wont do it anymore and the guys out there look pretty rough so im a bit scarred to every try tbh :) My dad has gone from here(michigan) to California hitchhiking in his youth, even taking shifts with the guy he was with, one sleeps one drives to get there faster.

I always wanted to do the route from NY to LA, Jack Kerouac style. Who knows, maybe I'll still do it. Hitchhiking through the entire Western Europe just doesn't cut it anymore, adrenaline-wise. ;) Sure the people are great (a-holes never bother to stop), but it's hard to get into any problem where you really need to handle yourself. I know it feels strange to go out on the road and stick your thumb up, but once you get past it and get your first lift, it's always just a plain pleasure. So give it a try! :)

Bodi,

It’s just a gentle reminder that we are waiting for your move or any kind of delay notification.

Best regards,
Y.
