I've PMed Mart about the password. Ronin, please be advised that we use the kyrub's patch and that for some reason I didn't get to ask kyrub about, there is a retooling penalty even within one turn, i.e. once you change a build, some mins are immediately lost. I don't know why it made its way into the patch, I've never thought the penalty needs any tweaking, but anyway it's there.

I’ve got the same problem with rules – I remember that we decided about:

•   no upgrades of supply crawlers allowed,
•   no Empath Guild and Cloudbase Academy allowed,

but what we have finally decided regarding copters? Range cut in half (built-in into scenario), no weapon grater than 4, or that we can use them without any restrictions?

You know, University is so advanced with techs, that we should decide about as soon as possible – in next few turns, first copters may reach our borders... ;)

Can't be that difficult to find, Arma. Either you got a PM on or around 13 May with the password or you 'd sent your pwd to Mart slightly earlier. ;)

I must say this in-turn retooling penalty feels annoying to me. I don't know why kyrub decided to implement it as I was away when he was working on it, but I for one see no reason behind it. At least it doesn't affect secret projects, that would be a bummer.

It’s really annoying, but even somehow rational – if you change your mind, a part of the efforts you have already taken, must be lost – the later the decision, the more will be wasted. But from Prophet’s perspective it forces me to do a lot of micro-management – if I don’t want to loose a chance of possibly most valuable instant-build when supply pod is discovered, I have to coordinate production (exact time of starting new production) with planned movements (popping the pods on exact turns) of my units... Up to now you could achieve it by temporary switch to Stockpiling Energy (easy way to redirect potential instant-build to next city, the one with desired production on early stage) but with retool penalty it’s no longer as simple... And too deep level of micro-management is something I do not like very much – It takes to much time to plan accordingly...

Well, the most important thing is that I see absolutely no rationale behind it. It's not like changing your production in-turn was an OP feature prone to abuse. It was indeed useful to get a decent instabuild, but this is far from being any real issue.

Arma, how's the password? It must around here, somewhere. ;)
