LMS2 has a reload... be glad I do this, this event "bug" knocks out all your bases, too...

I am hoping as we get away from bases, these pods disappear... I do not like reloading. It looks tacky. This early, probably does not matter. We get 50 turns into this... well I am not reloading and the whole world flooding is going to be hilarious (fun??).

Currently, I am saving before each pod as a precautionary measure, so I minimize how much I have to replay.   But so far, I have not needed to reload.

In later turns, when the turns are longer, I suggest everyone saving before harvesting a pod, just to avoid a large amount of replay.

*sigh* Yes, it happened to me again in L2. I don't like to reload it, too, but the only alternative is for everybody to stop popping pods. However, such a solution would raise some problems - it does not affect equally all factions (for example, Deirdre may consider an infested pod actually a goodie). And the pods are so ubiquitous here, a complete ban might even affect movement and base placement. So I guess we're stuck with reloading. Earthmichael has a point, later on saves may be in order. The only thing that bugs me is just why only me and Green1 seem to be affected...  ???

Anyway, turn to Provost Earthmichael, PhD.

Green1, please read my PM to you BEFORE you play your Gaia turn here.

I'm so happy you two hit it off so early! It's so hard to find a true friend these days, on this planet. Life was so simpler on old Earth.

Sorry, I missed that the turn was with me.

Sprang more worms this turn.  Pods are such a mixed blessing.

Once again, the frustrating entire world flooded bug. This time on LMS2. Noah's ark anyone?

Somehow I didn't get flooded this time, but it holds that we and Green1 remain affected much more. I'm moving to a new computer soon and we'll see if this does the trick. Meanwhile, the turns to Earthmichael.

LMS1 had a reload due to a volcano event.  LMS2 no problems.

Yay... no Kevin Costner time this round!

Although the anarchist in me thinks it would be absolutely hilarious for us to have to recover from a massive flood this early. But, I do not think you guys would share my sick sense of humor.

Why do you insist that the human genetic code is 'sacred' or 'taboo'? It is a chemical process and nothing more. For that matter -we- are chemical processes and nothing more. If you deny yourself a useful tool simply because it reminds you uncomfortably of your mortality, you have uselessly and pointlessly crippled yourself.
