I did not mean to stop the game.

I am OK with continuing.  I just want to make sure that everyone understands that the AI are cheating pretty badly and should probably be taken care of pretty quickly, otherwise, they will grow out of control.

Well, we could try to unify against the AI. Are we late for this?

No, I already have Hive contained.  There is no way that I can move against him without air power due to the perimeter fences and the cheating, but I don't think he can expand any further either (at least not toward the north).  I cannot tell about south, because I can't get there.

I don't know about the other factions.

Ok, I think we'll need a unify strategy then.
Attacking the AIs one at a time all of as together makes sence?

I infiltrated Yang and found that the AI in this game is cheating pretty badly. (I presume the other AI are cheating just like Yang; if you have infiltrated, then let us know.)  He is running only Police State (not Planned or Wealth).  Yet he has only 6 columns for industry and 6 columns for growth!  He also gets 3 free citizens before he gets a drone!

That’s normal for all the AI’s – they have several additional bonuses to be able to (at least in theory) stand against humans.

Because they're stupid; it makes sense.

Yes, but from the other side, many times they dig through technology tree with a really lightening speed and then spread all those techs among all the players, making word-shaking techs available to anyone... It kills at least a part of very interesting strategies – if I can try to generalize, most interesting games I’ve ever played were those with 4 or 5 humans and without the AI.

We are no longer particularly in the business of writing software to perform specific tasks. We now teach the software how to learn, and in the primary bonding process it molds itself around the task to be performed. The feedback loop never really ends, so a tenth year polysentience can be a priceless jewel or a psychotic wreck, but it is the primary bonding process?the childhood, if you will?that has the most far-reaching repercussions.
