Yeah... when this game is fixing to get really interesting on my part.  :D

Do not worry, though. At least you did not have like 2 weeks of non stop work related sleep deprived torture.

I think once you take one of these games you pretty much have committed yourself to a year of checking in on a thread to random nerds around the world you will never meet.

That is so true but it's also part of the fun.

Sorry, I didn't notice.

As is tradition, I wish you all the best! And the Human Genome Project is poised for completion.

Maybe we can just kill the Angels or push their turns ourselves? They are not going to count anyway with their 4 pop at this stage of the game. And we're not going to find a replacement for such a poor faction. If I wasn't in, I'd probably take on the challenge, but there is absolutely no way they can win or be close to win.

I PMed t_ras to either kill off the Angels or let me do it with their password. Hopefully we can continue with the three of us, right guys? I gather you're still around?

Fossils fuels in the last century reached their extreme prices because of their inherent utility: they pack a great deal of potential energy into an extremely efficient package. If we can but sidestep the 100-million-year production process, we can corner this market once again.
