Railway/Highway Graphics

Have a mod concept where factions start the game with the ability to construct magtubes. Getting around quickly should make gameplay quicker and also makes more sense from a background perspective, since we can construct this kind of infrastructure on earth, right now, with our current tech.

My (older) version of Will to Power has an option to disable magtube/road function in enemy territory, which would prevent this for being abused for rapid conquest.

But this early colonial infrastructure wouldn't be magtubes. It would be railways/highways, so I'd like to change the graphics. Unfortunately, much harder than hoped.



Using the civII railway icons proved a complete failure.

I tried the other roads (from the main portion of the image). Tarmac look is exactly what I'd like but scaling it down to the appropriate size for SMAC graphics ruined it.

Any ideas?
