Many of you have not had the Advantage of acquaintance with the serene Petek, God Of All SMACX Installation Troubleshooting. For this, I pity you.

On November 19, 2011, amidst a call elsewhere for reduced conflict, I posted:

Petek's one of the best examples of what people in the community should be like. Always mature, always helpful, an example for the rest of us.

I'm not sure of any specific conversation I had with Petek. I am sure that his hints, tips, and outright helpful dialog were incessantly useful to me when odd things started happening. If I could extract all his information I used from the megabytes on my hard drive, I could write a better essay.
