Hi folks,

Been in a little bit of a SMAC mood so I've been working on a faction for funsies. Like all good faction creators I've been using Buster Uncle's excellent base resources that you can find in the download areas here (Bases8 in particular).

Like always I wanted to make an aquatic version of the base graphic I selected. But it is a bit too big to fit any wake or support structure under the water... I tried to make some tweaks but wasn't sure if they worked or not. Let me know what you think.

I'll happily share the final result once it's done for anyone to use.

Ok, IIUYC, none of these bases are aquatic. I was confused for a minute by what you were saying, but I went and looked at the original Bases8 you mentioned. I'd say what you've done with the perimeter fence etc. looks fine.

Yeah my bad for not phrasing it well. Look at the largest size of base--compare the 1st and 4th rows and let me know if the 4th row looks like an okay variant that is less "jutting out" than the regular one

I don't really see a problem with any of them. The foot size of the largest 4th one isn't noticeable. People will be paying attention to the size of the "tent".
