When Yitzi's patch is operational, I always get a little popup box when starting the program: "Welcome to Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri". Is there any way to not receive that little message? I (try to) play every day for multiplayer, so the world will be a better place if we can cut down on loading time.

I get the one saying: "The Alpha Centauri CD-ROM was not detected, ..." Below that text are two buttons: "Retry" and "OK". (I just click OK and it goes to the AX opening screen with the menu that pops in on the right.) Is that the one you get? If so, there's no prevention I've read about.

Am using the GOG version. No CD expected. It did use to ask whether I wanted to play vanilla or crossfire before I figured out it was possible to shortcut through the terranx file.
