I can't say I'm impressed by this behaviour, especially since you started both games and twice failed to mention your high excitement expectations. And publishing passwords for everyone to see is the opposite of damage control and trying to help. I'll have to warn other players not to join your games in the future.

The SMAC community is without doubt the most honourable and respectable one on the entire Internet, but it may still be not enough to convince someone to join if their password is clearly visible. We have two games and several players (me, Kurvivor, Neville, czar, mogre) left in the lurch. Maybe we should regroup somehow?

Kurvivor, a frank question - can you commit to do your turns faster? I'm the last one to throw a stone here, but you seem to struggle with your obligations for a couple of months now. A turn per week is indeed too slow and I kinda expected people to drop out because of it sooner or later. Do you think you could do something about it?
