I was afraid that unity pod caused an earthquake which destroyed that hill you had internet-connection on.

Next step would've been to call for a planetary council meeting to propose a rescue mission :P

An earthquake would have been a serious improvement   ;lol  I don't even have a special of any sort.   :(

Okay, since Jeroen is not online in Skype, here's the .sav

Let me horrify you by saying I am actually playing it in the morning, after horse-riding and associated bar I am not always the most sober or clear-headed  ;caretake;

Other days it'll actually be nice that Eadee and I are the last in sequence because he and I do stay up late. But tonight I would probably just move colony pods into the sea or something.

My start isn't ideal either. I was worried one of you started in the jungle with four monoliths.

Ha! The monolith remains a rumour as far as the Gaians are concerned. Along with fresh water and nutrient/minerals/energy specials.

We are sad   :(

On the upside, we have a working internet connection   :D

I'm going right there, Vishniac.

My pods suck, too, and I got only a battle ogre. What's the use of a battle ogre, ugh.

errrr... a battleogre is a slow terraforming-unit. If you repeadatly move through xenofungus the fungus will go away and a street will be built. If you encounter mindworms win this process just attack them.

Do not use the battle-ogre for combat!

I hear that if you own a battle ogre you'll have 1000% the drone riots of factions who do not have the battle ogre, like mine, I don't have one *cough*

Gosh, I didn't know that. Good old SMAC, always the unexpected. Well, I'm glad I don't have one either then.   ;troll

In fact, I don't have a single square yielding even two food. Nada. Zip. Nothing. My growth is so slow I'll be lucky to have a colony pod built before someone transcends ...

I'm actually so desperate for ressources that I consider sending my colony-pod into a unity-pod at this point -.-
