I'm having an issue with X11 since I upgrade to OS X El Capitan. I'll play asap, when I have the time to fix it.

El Capitan's new rootless feature seems to block X11 to launch, and thus the Alpha Centauri game. Is anyone using the GOG version?

Is there any way for you to get your hands on virtually any kind of rig? Literally a Pentium II with Windows 98 would do here, maybe some friend has something like that in their attic?

For quite a time i was usingbox with Windows XP to run it, then switched to simply running it from under wine (installed with PlayOnLinux).

There is a thread OSX 11.
They mention disabling SIP.

They say something about SIP here:
http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/193368/what-is-the-rootless-feature-in-el-capitan-really

But I am no Mac user, so I'm not much knowledgeable about this all.

In Gog they mention, Gog could release a patch for OSX 11.
