I have tried the save twice but terranx is crashing when I push enter at the end of the turn, I will try again tomorrow when I have more time.

By the way, can names of factions inside the game be changed? I mean: in the saves drones are still ead by Peter Gray

All right, I have tried the turn a few times and it seems that the game is crashing when I try to change production in 3 cities that had just built units.  So I left those producing their current units and will try to change it later on.  I repeated the same moves on the military side including exposing a unit that should have been protected.  Hopefully this save is fine and does not cause similar issues for the next players.

I am travelling until April 13 and had hoped to run the game from a flash drive, but I have not managed to get it to work.  Would anyone object to Kurvivor or Vishniac (since they would gain the least information) or a third party taking over my turns until I am back?  (I could message my password and general strategy for those turns).

I think it's better idea to employ a third party (like our CMN) than one of us to handle your turns. If Mart could take over, that'd be great.

Yeah: using another player would lead to serious conflicts of interest.
Mart would be a solution but we're talking 4 weeks ; that's 4-5 turns at current speed. Your instructions need to be pretty detailed.

I also pm'd mart requesting a few turns with general instructions. Until at least the beginning of April I have daily email and Internet access, but have to go to an Internet cafe for a computer that can run alpha centauri, and that did not work from my flash drive.
