I fear for my cybernetic friend when I read this, it has something ominous.

You know, I brought you some nails and a hammer and I want you to crucify me. Go ahead, just nail me down to the cross which I brought here as well. I know that you've all been itching for that since the Planetfall. And yes, I predicted that the moment I quash the alien menace and challenge the Bolsheviks, you'll all hang me out to dry. I'm not angry about that. If anything, I'm a little bit sad. But I forgive you already. And if I have one regret, it's that I don't have a second life to give for mankind. But with the aliens effectively eliminated, your children can sleep well, and that's all that counts for me. Good night, sweet princesses!  ;jesus

Boys and cyborgs, gents and drones, gaians and other handicapped, the rich and freeriders - it pains to me say that I'm unavailable for 2-21.02, as I travel to Cuba for extensive rum tasting. Unfortunately, the broadband there is crap, not that I would play anyway. Since I'd be extremely reluctant to have a temporary replacement now in those volatile times of ours, I see no option but to ask you for forgiveness and patience. Please postpone the crucifixion.

Yours true and humble,
Cap

To the Morgans.

Best wishes for your Cuban holiday Kirov!  About five years ago I spent a holiday there at a beach northeast of Santa Clara with a trip to see Trinidad on the south coast, although I did not make it to Havana.  Hopefully you have some nice weather.

Also, the Drones wish to announce that we will not participate in any crucifixion, our plans would better be described as liberation and reeducation.

We start with Havana but Trinidad is on the list, I hear it's beautiful (i.e. the area around). Any other tips/recommendations?

I'm sorry, I didn't want to offend your sensibilities; I understand how important wording is. So just grab these reeducation pins and hold this reeducation pin sledge-introducer. Make sure to maximize stimuli exposure as the others hold me down to the Boards of Education.

To the Morgans.

For Cuba I don't really have many tips since I was only there for a short trip which was mostly spent at a new resort on Cayo Santa Maria with an overnight guided trip to Trinidad (and a lot of it depends on your interests).  The architecture and history of Trinidad were interesting.  The trip between was good for general sightseeing of the terrain and non-tourist communities (many similar looking older apartment blocks).  Near Trinidad is a natural reserve that was a worthwhile stop, although along one path I asked the guide about hundreds of structures along a rock face about 30 m away and he said that they were wasp nests and that although they were fairly dormant at that time of year it would be best to keep moving.

The people in Cuba generally seemed helpful and well-educated and, although the basics of life are subsidized, salaries are very low by western standards so you may run into people looking to make money off of tourists.  On the plus side for tourists labour intensive crafts are fairly cheap.  While travelling the guide driving the van/small-bus stopped several times for ~checkpoints which may have required some paperwork on their part and quick inspections of the condition of the vehicle, I am not sure if there would have been any difficulty for a tourist travelling on their own, particularly if they were not fluent in Spanish.

In short there are lots of different activities and historical sites available, nice weather, and people working in the tourist industry are fairly likely to speak English.

Now it's day and night the irons clang, and like poor galley slaves
We toil and toil, and when we die, must fill dishonored graves
But some dark night, when everything is silent in the town
I'll shoot those tyrants one and all, I'll gun the flogger down
I'll give the land a little shock, remember what I say,
And they'll yet regret they've sent Jim Jones in chains to Botany Bay.
