Guys, Christmas is coming so in the holiday spirit I’d like to offer you my mother for sale. She is absolutely great at cooking and her gefilte fish alone is worth any money. She’s in good technical condition, on minimum diet (she’s used to it) she should make it for at least five years more. However, I’m selling her “as is”, with no guarantee period. Trust me, I’m cutting my throat for you anyway. She’s my mother, after all.

The minimum price is 20 EC (or equivalent in jewellery), highest bidder wins. Instalments are negotiable.

Buying another person is unthinkable to us because we are the only force on this planet attempting to uphold standards of human decency and morality. If you are willing to sell your own mother, what other atrocities are you willing to commit?

All right, all right, I can see you're a good negotiator. 15 EC and I'm practically covering my shipment fees here.

Also, the Planetary Transit System is poised for completion.

So we are to post everytime we are about to finish a SP?

Starting with Applied Physics and diverting my research for Secrets of HB disturbed greatly my beelining to Automation. Well, there are enough interesting SP in the early game that everybody can have some. That said, your start is impressive.

It is a nice custom to announce when you're about to finish an SP, so that other players don't waste their time trying to rushbuild it. You are not forced to follow this practice, though.

I find SotHB not worth the effort so early. Even worse, they actually clog your research. The more you can focus on IA, the better (although I went to Biogenetics and CE first, but I only do it as Morgan).

I believe the house rules are that whomever begins the mission year and gets all the beginning-of-turn announcements is obliged to pass them along - primarily the SP-about-to-finish ones.

Since I wanted Rec Tanks and Rec Commons, I could as well get Secrets and a free tech.

I think Yitzi's patch prevents me to see what happens at the end of the turn. I don't see worms appear and attack, or spore launchers bombard. And I get messages about forest expanding near Morgan cities but not near mine.
