I've saw it in this way: the encoding try to translate alien sounds with alphanumeric character, how you write alien sounds in terran language?

It might be worth experimenting to see if the game will display any special characters...

Then again, the RIGHT gibberish and garbage displaying might be able to PASS as Alienese, even if NO special characters will display...

Maybe.  -I think you mostly get ascii junk that isn't characters at all with some special characters.

ete should adjust my txts in few days so then i can put the facs in download section but mainly ( ;)) report them in wiki facs.
about do this, i've see empty for logo fac to upload, what's size of .bmp??

I'm not sure I understand, but .pngs are much better.  .bmps are HUGE memory hogs.

i've realized definetly 6 of 7 graphics for my facs, i'm going to name it WAR FACS SET (it can be also [prostitute] [fuddle-duddle] SEX if you like/want), for the warlike culture with which they are made.
i focus this discussion on the inspiration i felt and i report below some notes can help to understand better my txts ideas and give a graphic outlook, often pictures express more than words, expecially in my case.

I've found your new album pictures interesting.


.jpgs are better still for small size/memory, if the image doesn't have to be all that crisp, or .gifs better than that if it does need the detail but isn't full color like a photograph.  Since most of this will be SMACX images, .gif format is probably best.

The wiki interface isn't that bad, although I agree that it's difficult to learn at first.

i remember marine detachment was display also for land units in game, ... why??
