It is hard to believe with all of the experienced modders out there, that no one can help with our unit transfer problem.

I just thought of another alternative.  The reason unit transfer is so critical is because of Pacifism.  Is it possible to edit some files running the Yitzi patch to eliminate the Pacifism penalty?  Then unit transfer would not really matter.

Looked over all of the alphax variables, don't see any which would be relevant. Without access to the scenario editor non-.exe modders can do basically nothing, and that's intended by the designers because otherwise the players could cheat really easily. In an ideal world there would be a master password set at game creation which would allow the scenario editor to be turned on and off, but since that's not available we have very little to work with.

Ic ould not make it work even with normal scient patch. Im traying to replay many turns to see if it was from the begginign or from the patch, but I doubt it could come from the basic scient patch.

you're probably right, try our first file (the one you created the firstat) the start of game and add some units then attempt to hand over control.

to know for the future games :-)

I guess we can continue.  Let me look at my current situation.  Knowing what I know now, I might ask to backtrack one turn, so I don't do anything to trigger those pesky Pacifism drones.  I will check and get back with you.

I did not backtrack; I am just living with the pacifism drones for now.  I will have to do something next turn for sure.  After the game, we should talk about how we are dealing with the pacifism drones due to unit transfer not working.  If you get any kind of unit transfer to work, let me now, and I will do the same.

So for now, lets keep on playing and see what happens.  Have fun!

I change the social order when I'm on offense, so there is no pacifism in my case.

Observe the Razorbeak as it tends so carefully to the fungal blooms.. just the right bit from the yellow, then a swatch from the pink. Follow the Glow Mites as they gather and organize the fallen spores. What higher order guides their work? Mark my words: someone or something is managing the ecology of this planet.
