Well, that says how fast the three of us could be playing. :) t_ras, could you please push the turn? But do some clicking around if anything needs to be done (build orders, etc.). If demiurg doesn't commit to more frequent play, in Monday or Tuesday we'll post a wanted ad. As it may take some time, t_ras could temporarily step in if available.

I just PMed t with a link to the last post.  His baby is just a few months old, as is his job, so cross your fingers...

Thanks for doing go. We can wait, that's not a problem, the game can't be possibly any slower right now... :)

OK, enough time given. I could keep pushing the turns doing nothing or ask for replcement and wait. What is your call?

We can also push the turns as needed while waiting for a replacement.
Are we on the same page there?

Yep, I'd go for pushing the turns for a while and waiting.

t_ras, if you have a minute, you could also take basic care of the demiurg's faction - like setting build orders, planting forests and killing any incoming mind worms. But if you're too busy - just push it.

Hmmm.. password is not seeming to work.

It tells me that turn has already been played. I enter password 3 times and it throws me to desktop.

Using stock GOG .exe.

Ideas because I really am a newb to the procedure here....

Hi Green1, welcome onboard! Do know that the rumours about flesh eating are slightly exaggerated.

Are you absolutely sure that you downloaded the turn attached here? No offence meant, I'm just checking. ;) If yes, then the only possible option left is that the password is misspelled. The copy of the game has nothing to do with it.

Have fun! :)

Yes, that is the save.

Password is probably misspelled. I will wait on T_ras to recheck the PW.

Looking forward to it. This will be first MP game.

Hmm.. seems T_ras has disappeared or been kidnapped by ecological malcontents.

I have PMed a few days back, but we will have to wait.

This is one of those reasons I (usually) shy away from the multiplayer aspect of 4X games.

Who knows, if this does not work out, maybe I can try out another epic PBEM with some of you guys.

The key to have ongoing fun is to participate in several games at once. And since you asked about it - it actually seems we could use a replacement for a game which hasn't even properly started yet.

http://alphacentauri2.info/index.php?topic=2523.0

We needed to restart the game for technical reasons and then lorddragonhat vanished with nary a trace. It's two games at once, year 2102, so feel free to take a look at it and join.

The chief aim of their constitution and government is that, whenever public needs permit, all citizens should be free, so far as possible, to withdraw their time and energy from the service of the body, and devote themselves to the freedom and culture of the mind. For that, they think, is the real happiness of life.
