Electricity is a pretty great example, yeah. Electricity can lead to some pretty weird and complicated phenomena (semiconductors, lightning, solar flares, etc.), yet electricity at its core is just the bulk movement of charged particles, explained with exquisite accuracy by Maxwell's equations (or quantum electrodynamics, if you prefer).
Wow, so not interested in debating whether there is a creator. If you'd like to live as if there is one, go right ahead. I'm going to live as if we have the capacity to predict outcomes in the natural world based on physical and mathematical laws and then try to figure out why that might be the case.
alright then tell us the name of your 10th grandfathers, 10th grandfathers, grandfather. and prove yourself.

I can look up at an approaching storm front and accurately predict that it's going to rain without knowing the positions of each individual rain drop.
As it happens, I do know the name of my tenth grandfather, or could look it up given enough time. My first name "Brayton" was the last name of my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather. His first name was Francis. I'm rather glad my parents went with Brayton instead.Do I win something?

Warned and rude anyway - 24 hour vacation, and it goes up next time..
