Okay, check again; I believe I've ameliorated the background discontinuity sufficiently, and the breadcrumbs may be legible enough now...

Okydoke folks, it's time to put on the 6 theme and tell me if I'm almost done, like I think I am...

Hm.  The dark blue doesn't play nice with some of the icons. 

Doesn't bother me, per se, and I'm personally partial to the dark. 

I could see a more tan color akin to the quick reply area (without the graphic) working as well, if someone wanted a light version.

Bumping around more, it's just the "discussion" icon that don't like it.  I don't remember that problem on other dark themes.

Ah.  "The Chilling" doesn't run the "Discussion" icon at all, it reverts to a default icon.  That's why I hadn't noticed.

There's a transparent background on that default icon, or something; I b'lieve I won't have any trouble fixing...

Reply button looks out of place being a totally different blue to anything else.

AC wiki box should be same background colour as the other right side boxes.

Reply button is that way because of how it's set up counterintuitively/differently/probably wrong in Curve, which is what I started with.  Surely fixable, but I'm not sure worth the trouble, and tracking down the difference would indeed be troublesome.

I'd noticed that white background on the Wiki box and feel the same way - probably an art issue, but I'll see if I can track it down.  It might be best to knock out a version of the art that fills the box...

I do like Uno's idea of a tan color for the quick reply box.

He was talking about the color of the index boxes, which are currently dark blue and dark cyan - and a bunch of things are intertwined, so I can't do one color one place and another another place sometimes, like, those colors are also the post backgrounds.

Okay - the buttons are white text on a much darker background now (w/gold borders) - but the only way the do that is to have white lettering in the pulldown buttons and the reply fields.  Cool?

-Also, the reply field is a thing unto itself, but do we WANT a shade of tan for it inside a frame of tan parchment?

-Now, I'm open to swapping the regular index colors with the stickied thread colors -and you can look at the top inside this or any other subforum in the 6 theme to see how that looks- but that's the colors you'll also get with the post backgrounds, and I'm only willing to carry one 6 theme, so we have to choose which, and be content with it that way...
