COLLAPSE that %$#@ at the top - it's ugly and utterly, 100%, superfluous and no way to do anything with it.

Open index.php in the editor and search for:

Change this line to:

That will enable collapse on default.  Spaces added to braces so as not to spac out the post.

...That's because you're signed in, and cookies.  You collapsed it on SOME theme SOMEtime.  That's why I forget so easily the stupid thing's there...

Thanks a lot for working that out.

I find that since the Great Satan Firefox won't let me log in, it's handy for checking what lurkers see, at least in the Great Satan Firefox - and it confirms that when lurkers switch to the 6 theme, the extra crap is collapsed.

-I may bother to add that bit of code to all the non-default themes...
