Derp moments in Alpha Centauri

Whats the stupidest thing you've done in Alpha Centauri? Just those little face palm moments when you realized you did something dumb? For instance forgetting the "terraform level" command.

Once thought I could carry planet busters on boats for surprise nuking, but it just ran out of fuel near boat, and it considered it detonation. Killed an entire city and ship.

Did the boat have Carrier Deck?

(Also, did it have Deep Pressure Hull; I'm not sure, but I think that might affect things too.)

Maybe there was on that tile some enemy unit? Like hidden in fungus or a submarine, etc.? And that's why it detonated?

Nah, hidden units are shown first and then you have to move there again to attack.
