Ok, so here are good news and GOOD news.
Our esteemed CEO is alive and well, due to conducting surprise inspection during the unfortunate incident with our headquarters.
Aaand there is a number of avaiable positions in Morgan Inc. management avaiable - and this means promotions for everyone!

Evidence would be hard to find: mindworms literally dissolve themselves in the brains of their victims before laying their eggs. Good luck searching the goo made of thousands of rotting Morganites for some far-fetched sci-fi controling mechanism...especially when those mindworms are empath-controlled!

You're welcome, my friend. Vishniac admitted his guilt, but I think he's covering up for somebody else. It's probably MallaxOZ, because I don't even know how to say his nickname. Keep your eyes open!

  Aki's log, 2120 - Twenty years. Wow, it was fast. Since our arrival on the Planet, we did not really have the time to take a break. The first years, it was just a struggle to survive. An alien lifeform is here, and it does not really like us. Year after year, we learned to repel those worms, but our cyborgs live always frightened nowadays. It has been said that certain swarms of those aliens had human zombies among them. The legend even mention some sordid details: a morganite named Richard Baxton, who died clawing his eyes out, screaming for mercy, after being controlled more than a week and attacked his own people. Poor guy...

I hesitated to write an algorithm to delete the legend from The Grid, but we, cyborgs, hold Network Neutrality to be sacred, as it was partly responsible to the Paranoïa that infected Earth and led to its destruction. Instead, I ate a delicious meal to change my mind, as I know my hunger always feed my anger. A full plate of lutefisk, a sentimental dish from me, since that was what my dad, who was as wicked fisher as fantastic scientist, used to cook when I was little, back in my native Norway. The next month, I work day and night on a single algorithm to calm my nerves. I did not really have found a solution for the worms, but I managed to do a polynomial optimization for our Life Algorithm. This advanced in biogenetics should permit us to be centenarians without feeling pain. Fortunately, as I'm already 92 years old. And because it seems my people will need me for the next centuries... I don't know what the future will be like, but I know my skills inspire my people, and they tend to be more effective in research when I'm with them. The science give us the possibility to build a ship which saved us from the destruction of Earth. I think science will save us again.

Anyway, we're out of lutefisk. But hey, let's not lose hope, our progress in understanding the psych of native life forms may allow us to cultivate aquatic farms in next decades!

We are not alone on this planet. I don't talk about other human factions nor about the mindless mindworms we have learnt to live with.
No: there are humanoid aliens out there and our exploration team is just staring at them face to face, unable to understand them.
