Thx for the help, I appreciate it. If only I would have *rovers* to do like you suggest  :(
Anyhow, if I got HEC I will sent it to you. Just one question, what is it  :-[

what the HEC? :D
Guys, If the game is too dificult to be fun, I can allways restart it with more docile AI (Or at least without the SPs).
Your suposed to have fun.

Oh no, you got me totally wrong. Nothing less fun than a weak and predictive AI. If it is not possible to be swept away by the AI, where's the challenge?
Keep it like this, I won't complain.

I am a little frustrated by the sidetracks that keep me from getting HEC, but as long as Marr will keep probing (and not all out attacking) for 10 more turns or so, I should be able to get the techs I need to defend myself.

I am glad he is just sending out his daily probes!  No complaint there!

Thanks to Lal for trading me HEC!

Marr came after me with a 4/2/2(3) elite rover this turn!  I took two casualties taking that monster down, but I got rid of it.

I am now open for trading techs with anyone who wants, since I don't have to worry about being slowed down getting HEC.  So message me if you are interested.

I have had Marr infiltrated for some time now, but I just realized the following facts:

1.  Marr's Industry rows are only 6 wide.  He is running Planned, which accounts for 1, but it seems Marr is getting a +3 extra industry bonus.
2.  Marr's Growth rows are only 5 wide.  He is running Planned, which accounts for 2, and the faction bonus is 1, but he seems to be getting an extra +2 Growth bonus
3.  Marr gets 3 free units before he starts getting drones.  On transcend, a faction only gets 1 free unit before drones, which I presume is all of us human players.

As an alien, he already gets a bunch of extra bonuses, such as free recycling centers and a special facility, but this is normal, but makes aliens a quite powerful faction without these 3 extra bonuses above.

And he started with a secret project that puts command centers in all of his bases (which we all knew right away).

I don't know if Sparta and Hive are getting extra bonuses as well, but if so, that could explain why the AI are so much more difficult to handle than expected in this game.

Anyway, just thought you would want to know.

You can open up my Gaia save and take a look at Marr.  I presume you have the password to open it.

Maybe the AI boost is automatic when the human players are transcendent?  I am neither a modder or a moderator, so I have very limited knowledge here.

Ill look arround.
Maybe it has to do with some tech they have? I certainly did not play with SE settings.

It is not uncommon to see patients undergo permanent psychological trauma in the presence of the Sphere, before the nerve stapler has even been strapped into position. Its effect on the general consciousness of the culture is profound: husbands have seen wives go inside, and mothers their children. Dr. Xynan left the surface of the sphere semitranslucent for a reason. You can hear them in there.. you can see them. It is a thing of terrible beauty.
