Good timing, I could not play another turn today either. Not sure I will be able to play in the next few days (vacations), but I think I'll try to install SMAX on my laptop, as being a sluty capitalist is a fine way to take a break from work!

IIRC SMAX works without installation, just copy the folder.

I'm on mac os x, that's why I'm worry about. But acccording to GOG, even my five year old macbook should handle it.

Base game should work, but you may need to check about patches.
I think by default, Yitzi is only patching the Windows version.
Not sure if unpatched game creates any problems though.

My laptop fans go crazy, the screen resolution is not great, but I was able to play

I attempted to fix resolution screen a few times, so you'll be notified that I loaded the file several times.
I did not succeded though, but that's fine, I can play in a small resolution for a week.

No worries, I got one too. Keep forgetting to reboot pc every now and then.

Idea: create memorial for scout team destroyed by worms, museum, restaurants and shops.
Pros: compassion can create sales and donations. Figurines of soldiers are the most profitable goodie, and however the cheaper to produce.
Cons: If scout teams keep dying on the field, the business could end up with a depressed population, decreasing the sales.
Other comments: One member of the jury highlights the potential immorality of this project. The rest of the jury does not think why on Chiron it could be immoral to make money.
