Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008 tweak

Description: This is a SMAC/SMAX INI file that has been conformed to work on Windows Vista / Windows Server 2008.

Assuming a fresh / clean install of SMAC and (optionally) SMAX, apply all relevant patches to the game, then drop this file (unzipped, of course) in the same directory as your game EXEs. Run the game as Administrator if you have UAC, and the game should load with no issues.

Whilst this works on some machines, there are no guarantees it will work on your PC too. However, if the game still doesn't run, you may have missed a step elsewhere.
