i'm near to finish the work about ''world war'' facs set. it's an open projet because, as you're going to see in txts, there's more to do. if you want make something or use for any scenario you're free to do all you want, this is my part of a work (my version), could be better if someone put hands on it.
i'm going to explain you how i see the global situation, so you can understand (i hope) because i've see the future in this kind (as you see also in facs name i rest much generic ... the fantasy of each one can rich the contest of the set facs and as i just told the debate is always open).
obviously the start point was : who have potentials to build settlements in space in 2100, surely who today have or can have the necessary technologies to go in space, so Russia, Us, Europe, China, Japan and it seem Iran move its first steps. i've resumed the civilization of earth in :
commonwealth of nations : leaded by enterprises, mainly is a society which round around the citizens of north east of US, england, canada, then there are other minors, also located in third world where corporations have low cost work and can extract the resources, in Africa or south east Asia. it's a consumism despotism and freedoms are closed in the name of
the security of everybody. The only god here is the cash.
confederacy of states : is the other face of US, more conservator, catholic religious oriented (and also countries like brasil, argentina, south africa can took part in this coalition), and weapon possession as value to guarantee the freedom.
popular front : the nationalist socialism of comunist party of china, and its satellites in indochina.
empire of the rising sun : emperor of japan is the chief who, instead the war, remain to his place. by time emperor is view by japanese as an absolute leader, until 50 years old he was view as a god ... i think he remain always the prime figure of the head of japan. i was inspired by the situation, which you surely know, of Mantsu company and the colonization of Manchuria in the first 20s, follow the militar occupation by the extreme winght of the imperial army, the Kwantong Army. so i think a japan leaded by, in first the emperor, and then nationalistic party - elemets of the imperial army, and a national company.
islamic caliphate : iran and saudi arabia could go in space (the first it seems it's going, the second can buy) and could be a day join togheter (i know their rivalism but there's much uncultural feeling and in future they can join togheter) to establish their ignorance in space too.
federation of russia, i've called federation of republics (always generic name) ... here i think jarl has more elements to identify the potential situation but i'm not so optimist about future ... the concepts of democracy are going down everywhere in the world, also where it was borned ...
i've thinked russia united and strong, as always whatever thing happen, under a nationalist party, viewing the recent political development, maybe the return to the old empire, just as extention no as government (but this last misunderstanding jarl, we have already exceeded
), which can take part slavic regions of europe, some high midlle east.
for the europe i'd like have a discussion with the belgian (hoping he doesn't offend for the friendly identific name ... i don't know much belgians). i think the massonic bank system which lead today in europe could collapse a day when the states will be in totally economic fall down and peoples rise up. in italy there's no new investments from about 20 years, it's all remain the same. Putin arrive in Trieste last day to sign commercial treaties, and this is a good thing, but the economic situation is really social dangerous here. Maybe northern europe is more stable and surely more cultural open than southern states like greece, italy, spain.
south, central, north and east europe are so different: some states could be buyed by the corporate despotism, some return to nationalisms to save us against the globalization of the minds, slavic regions could be united with russia (think to serbia, unghary ... always much feeling with her), it can even be formed an islamic caliphate in the earth of europe (think to islamic rounds-patrol in certains departments of london, and maybe in other locations but media don't spread this kind of news) ... surely it will not happen the same in each european countries properly for their differences. i could do a fac which represent europe or better that part which remain indipendent?
