Not much happened, except that the CyCon provoked the Pirates (many of whom are actually Buddhists) to defensively engage the CyCon's viciously incoming probe team. Likely an alliance of the CyCon and Gaia followed, but what do I know.

What's the average turn rate?

The game is from March this year (70 turns in 9 months), but there were slower periods. Once it gets speed, it can be very fast.
It is blind research, which spices the game.

People have had computer problems or vacations but at times we can cruise at 2 days/turn.
The most interesting time is before us with the race for secret projects and negociations for future governorship, that should keep us motivated.

The Free Drones are a little behind with population but I see them as a strong contender.
