I opened my turn and well, 1) the seas will rise by 266m (that's almost 873 feet for you guys overseas) within 20 years, and 2) the Hive is no more, his minions slaughtered by both external and internal forces. I've always known that we are not so different, Bodi and I.

Anyhow, Geo, would you and how would you like to proceed?

Heh. There's not even a snowflake's chance in hell I'll overtake you in power. But if you like to continue to built up your faction and achieve some other kind of victory, I'll play my turns and do the Morgan stuff. ;morganercise

Well, a game really should be fun for everyone involved so if you don't get any thrills, we can just as well call it off. I can go either way and play it peacefully or not so much. On the one hand, I hate picking fights with factions which haven't wronged me. I strongly believe in Justice, not unlike the Man of Steel himself. On the other hand - do you know this saying "when you've got a hammer in your hand, all problems seem to look like nails"? Well, I have 32 hammers.  :(

Another con is that soon we'll largely have to focus on climate change issues.

32 needlejets, ready to strike?

And I bet you never had to mitigate your pollution output in a game before, or even *gasp* stall expansion and try to make the gameworld a better place. :P

My thrills in games is usually not about the winning, so I can go on and snag something away here and there before it gets in your clutches. ;cute

Geo, I reloaded the turn 3 times for funny reasons - the game can't decide when to show messages about combats and fungal pops, so at first opening you get the former and then at the second one (after you save) you get the latter. The third opening gives no info so I had to go back and check where mind worms are (I got to kill entire hordes this turn).

Can you pay attention and tell me how many reload warnings you got? I'm curious about one thing.

Also, won't you miss our Chairman? I know I already do.

I didn't check if you have EE but I can give it to you for free to avoid the flooding. I'll be lucky if I lose no base.

Not a single reload warning.
I of course regret his 'demise'. I was on the verge of infiltrating him. :(
I can avoid flooding with pressure domes. Sofar only one base sits on dangerous terrain.

More Deluge, I'm afraid. The dialog said 600m in 20 years, although some <600m tiles are interestingly not endangered. Still, we're playing 'raise the terrain' here for a while.

Just FYI to the CMN, we moved with Geo to email exchange.

A quaint volcano has erupted. I don't get it, just a little gassing here and there and now so much fuss all of a sudden.

Yes, yes, we've all heard the philosophers babble about 'oneness' being 'beautiful' and 'holy'. But let me tell you that this kind of oneness certainly isn't pretty and if you're not careful it will scare the bejeezus out of you.
