Title: Small World 2 on Steam/PC

Anyone have or is interested in this game? I wouldn't mind trying some multiplayer. It can be done asynchronous AFAIK so no need to be online at the same time.

Why, why, why are all these new games Steam? I truly despise the online all the time issues with steam. Unfortunately as time goes on, I will have no choice but to get over my disdain as this is what PC gaming is coming to as each year passes.

I just looked briefly at the game play, though. It seems a bit too card game-ish for my taste. I was expecting a board game tactics game. Looks and plays like an android/ ios game which I have never cared for that style. Probably has a DLC model that will give me a bad taste in the mouth.

I've heard good things about the board game, though I haven't played it yet. I'm potentially interested in playing but I'm maybe not available for a while.

Games on steam don't all need steam online or running to play.

True. But a decent portion are.
