Title: gameinformer #254 (June 2014) preview
Post by: gwillybj on May 21, 2014, 02:12:04 PM
Not a spectacular review, this one-page (2 big screenshots, half page of text) preview says nothing that hasn't already been said in other previews. They did okay by providing more detail and less fluff, given the space they used. I'm feeling less and less like trying C:BE, but at the same time wanting to see if it lives up to its pedigree.
gameinformer will do a full review when the game is released in the Fall.

Only one screenshot.  Sure it's the same article?

Nothing else shows up on the site's search engine.
They've made the web "flexible enough that you don't have to hem yourself in with a particular affinity", but the reviewer apparently wasn't inspired enough to actually mention anything in said web.

I'd have preferred the absurd cookie cutter I warned against if it was at least interesting.  I suppose I shouldn't have assumed the affinities counted for more than aesthetics.

Remember, ideology reflects developments in civilization and not the other way around.

I get the print issue in the mail from gamestop. Its two pictures are different from the one online, but they look familiar; maybe standard releases?
