Notes: I particularly like 2 faction verses 2 faction  one-on-one games.  To me, they seem much richer than playing a single faction, they do not add that much to the playing time, and I am MUCH more likely to get a game to conclusion with just a single other player than if there are 3 other players playing the same 4 factions.

It seems there are not too many active players left... Anyway, if someone plan to start 3-4 HP game with no pressure on high turn-rate and want the Cultists to be a part of, please let me know! :)

Bought SMAC when it was new, however had no time back then, but now our recent business went broke and I had plenty of time since to rediscover some of the old games. I did not install any patch yet, however, if a game is found where I can join in, I'll do whatever required. Win10 here.

As a builder, I prefer Aki, however as I understood it some of you will choose Chang and try to overrun me right form the start :) so ideal choice may depend from map size, I'd prefer huge.

Pbem is ok for me, and I'm ready for IP sessions with rapid pace (however, with occasional breaks to fetch coke from the fridge without time penalties running up^^. I sit in Austria, Europe, sandwitched between Germany and Italy, Central European Time Zone (Eastern Coast Time +6 hours, Pacific Coast Time +9 hours), however, I worked for a Sillicon Valley stuff for several years, thus being used to work U.S. time or any time around the world and the clock with no problem. I'd just follow your wishes concerning playing times.

I also got MOO2 and Conquest of the New World running on an old XP machine, the latter of which I years ago Pbem'ed as well - was great fun, if you like to, we can also play CNW :)

Hmm... I found that people have trouble with finding partners for their games as of late. I am glad a thread such as this exists. As for me, I don't browse these forums too often, but will receive an e-mail if PMed, so that's the best way to contact me.

I've been spending a lot of time playing and modding this game lately, and I'm intrigued by the possibilities for diplomacy and deceit that multiplayer offers. I've had a hard time finding other players elsewhere, though.
