Title: +3 PROBE, unit still got mind controlled

Ok, I just changed to Thought Control the previous turn, which in my mod grants +3 PROBE.  That's supposed to give immunity to being mind controlled, so I sent out ships without the usual workaround of doubling them up.  Maybe it's not technically a bug if there's a 1 turn delay before your new social engineering ability kicks in, and I think that's true of PLANET capture bonuses to some extent.  But if so, it's inconsistent, annoying, and counterintuitive.  Is this something Scient's Patch dealt with?

I will be watching to see if it happens anymore.  I wonder if it had anything to do with Svensgaard getting ready to mind control that Usurper sea base.  He was trying to take it over, and I brought my own units down because it kept getting emptied out, but Svensgaard wasn't quite managing to take it.  We weren't allied, we're just fighting the same enemy.

It says "+3 probe team morale, bases and units cannot be subverted by standard Probe Teams!", so maybe Svensgaard didn't have standard Probe Teams? Depending on when Algorithmic Enhancement becomes available in your mod, he might have gotten it and built probe teams with it. My other guess would be that he also has a +1/+2/+3 bonus to PROBE, and maybe that nullifies your +3 PROBE advantage over him, since your PROBE levels are the same/similar?

Too early in the game for Algorithmic Enhancement.  PROBE ratings do not cancel each other out as far as mind control immunity goes.  If you're immune, you're immune.
