Title: Thoughts on the bastards of the Civ series? (Call to Power, Test of Time)

Did anyone play Activision's attempt at Civ games, or post-Sid Meier-departure-to-Firaxis MicroProse's expanded remake of Civ II? Civilization: Call to Power had two games, I remember they had magazine ads (https://dans-things.com/index.php/2019/03/10/activision-video-game-adverts/) everywhere with the neat futuristic concept art. Civilization II: Test of Time was standalone but had both two sci-fi scenarios (Lalande 21185 and the extended Civ campaign that goes to Alpha Centauri) and two fantasy scenarios (Midgard and the Fantasy Campaign). None of these games were reviewed very well, though, considered to be inferior than actual Sid Meier's originals.

Nope I had no idea CtP has an extant community let alone mods. Tell me more.

No community I know of, but Knull posts about his mod intermittently - it's generating a trickle of activity from interested other parties.
