Title: no sound in intro or project videos, help

was having issues with unmodded gog version as well as updated with current versions of scient/yitzi's/pracx. everything else plays fine videos show, rest of game sound works. windows 10 if thats relevant

Sorry not to respond sooner.  I haven't been monitoring this forum.

Find out if it's as simple as audio having been turned off in your game options.  I seem to remember that one of the unofficial binary patches, has the malfeature of starting with sound turned off.  Might be Yitzi.

Windows 10 versions 1803 and 1809 definitely do bad things to audio.  However the problems are usually choppy audio, not audio completely gone.
