I agree that the mythical weapons which you can buy are absurd, but the things that I craft and enchant myself are substantially better that anything I get from any torso. Purchasing chests may help a bit at buy ESO Blades Gold (https://www.mmogo.com/Esom/spam.html)  the very early levels, and the prices are crazy, but I can't agree that it is"cover to win" I totally see where you're coming out, but any time I get anything from a torso, it all just ends up scrapped for parts so I can upgrade my equipment that I have, or on the rare possibility that it is far better than my existing gear it will be quickly outclassed but the things I can craft once my blacksmith finishes upgrading. I concur that the chest system is busted. Along with the stone show up far too.
