ExCx and I decided to go ahead and start a 1v1 game while we wait for more players in the other thread (http://alphacentauri2.info/index.php?topic=19572.0). This is the turn-tracking thread for that game.

ExCx will be playing as the Gaians  ;deidre;
Brongue will be playing as the Hive  ;yang;

Rules are as follows (unless ExCx has any objections):

-No Empath Guild
-No Cloudbase Academy
-No Planetary Transit System
-No Choppers over attack power 4
-No self-destructing units

None of us has any real experience with multiplayer, so it should be interesting. We'll be playing a custom scenario attached in this post.

Yeah, we're just playing for the sake of fun and nostalgia here.

So, where are you from? I wonder if I can arrange my turns according to your timezone, so the game could flow faster maybe.

Oh cool, not so far away then. I'm from Turkey (UTC +3), but yeah, it's also not easy for me to play in a regular fashion. Maybe on Sundays like this, when I just chill in my home.

No problem. I actually started to like this pace. Diligently planning my every option, only to play one turn until next day or maybe week.

Weird experience at this modern fast-paced gaming era. It's almost like a Zen practice, lol.
