Title: How do you carve pumpkins?

Talia and I went to a little father/daughter pumpkin carving activity last week, and I saw my interpretation of the thing was quite different than everyone else. 

I brought a pumpkin for HER and one for ME. 

Now, despite what most might THINK, I actually DO NOT CARVE MANY PUMPKINS.  I much prefer to just hand the knives over to the kids and let them go to town.  Which is why I invested in a crapton of safety knives you can't really cut yourselves with.  What's more, they actually do the job of cutting a pumpkin BETTER THAN YOUR KITCHEN KNIFE.

Anyhow, we saw a lot of people let their kid draw then take over.  Many more break out the stencils (and some then ask me how to do them).  A few saw Talia with the safety knives (of which I brought plenty) and let their kids go to work.

Chainsaw? :o No, it's been a long time since I carved a pumpkin.
