One of the randome consequences of my in-laws passing is we find ourselves with a Wii U. 


THIS THING IS THE BEST NETFLIX BOX EVER! 

I never thought I would say this, but I LOVE the tablet-controller as well.  It's become the primary controller in the room where the Wii U sits.  Universal remote on it works better for Talia than the actual remote.  Big clear buttons on the tablet so she knows how to work the guide and stuff. 

Netflix on the WiiU loads right from the startup screen, which makes it a quicker load than any of the other consoles. 

That tablet comes in handy here as well as you can watch netflix on the tablet while watching something else (or playing the playstation) on the TV.  VERY nice for having 3 kids. 

Very good battery life on the tablet, long recharge cable. 

My one complaint of the box right now:

I can set up a nintendo ID with just an email.  Kyle can as well.  Anyone under 16 NEEDS TO TIE A CREDIT CARD TO THE ID.  WHY in the hell would I want my minors tying a credit card to an online account?  So, the little ones don't get nintendo IDs, so no online features for them.
