This is where we talk about the thread / post icons
On our forum they have the function of thread prefixes.

@Buncle: take a look at the icons attached. the askforhelp.gif is not so sharp as the original .jpeg. can you do something about it? i want the question mark more visible like the exclamation point maybe..

That should not be the case - I bet it's something to do with sloppy color conversion.  On it.

nope. the last is the most work-intensive one:

scrolling from right to left 'challenge' (SMAC blue color) on the SMACish background with scanlines. the boreder should remain the color of the background for the entire animation.

how's that for a challenge?

Wait; now I get it.  In the SMAC icon style, animated, the word 'challenge' moving across?  I can do that.  You do mean left to right, don't you?
