Oh boy, is there really anything to say.  I'm surprise he mentioned Firaxis needing to be innovative to look like they're not just milking their customers.  As though it were even a question.  The man wants a backstory for a game that doesn't have politics.  If the game throws out an entire component, it should not be surprising if the rest of the game, like the quest system is equally simple.  Virtues is as reductionist an idea as can possibly be made.
